The Series II Wolseley 1500 was released in May 1960, with the most notable external difference being the hidden boot and bonnet hinges. Interior storage was improved with the fitting of a full width parcel shelf directly beneath the fascia. The Series II of 1960 was the second series of the small Wolseley saloon, built on the Morris Minor floor pan, and sold more than the Riley version. The Series II had hidden hinges.
