The Renault Samsung SM7 is an executive car built in South Korea by Renault Samsung Motors from 2004 to 2020. The first generation, revealed on 30 November 2004, used the Nissan J31 platform shared with the Nissan Teana and was fitted with 2.3 or 3.5 litre Nissan VQ V6 engines; a New Art facelift followed in 2008. The second generation went on sale in August 2011, based on a stretched third-generation Renault Samsung SM5, with 2.5 and 3.5 litre VQ engines and a liquefied petroleum gas version added in 2015. A revised version was sold in China from 2012 as the Renault Talisman, and the car left sale in early 2020.
