Range Rover Velar (first generation)

Automobiles

The Range Rover Velar, the fourth Range Rover model, was unveiled in London on 1 March 2017 and released in the summer of that year. Built on the Jaguar Land Rover D7a aluminium platform that it shares with the F-Pace, XF and XE from Jaguar, with a wheelbase of 2,874 millimetres, it has Ingenium four-cylinder and six-cylinder engines with ZF eight-speed gearboxes. Its design language, smoother and more sporting than earlier Range Rovers, and its interior with three touchscreens, influenced later Range Rovers. A facelift followed in 2023.
