For 1968 the Belvedere and the other Chrysler B body cars were reskinned in Coke bottle styling, the Belvedere II was dropped and a Sport Satellite was added on the same sheet metal. The lightweight LA style 318 engine arrived and stayed available through the end, and the Road Runner was introduced as a low price alternative to the GTX. The name was dropped after the 1970 model year in favor of the Satellite. Its model years run from 1968 to 1970.
