Plymouth Belvedere (Cranbrook Belvedere)

Automobiles

The first Belvedere was the two door pillarless hardtop version of the Cranbrook, Plymouth's first such body, developed to answer the Chevrolet Bel Air and the Ford Victoria. It sat on the 118.5 inch Cranbrook wheelbase and used the Chrysler flathead six cylinder engine. The 1953 restyle brought a shorter wheelbase, a one piece windshield and flush rear fenders. Its model years run from 1951 to 1953.
