Oldsmobile Delta 88 (eighth generation, 1977 to 1985)

The 1977 Delta 88s and other General Motors B body cars were considerably downsized from their predecessors in length and wheelbase, to 116 inches, and nearly 900 pounds lighter in weight. Other than a reduction in shoulder room, interior room was not adversely affected. Both base Delta 88 and Royale models were offered only in two pillared body styles.
