The 1977 Delta 88s were considerably downsized, with curb weights dropping to between 3,500 and 3,600 pounds depending on model, and headroom and rear seat legroom actually increased. The 1977 to 1979 Custom Cruiser was now based on the Delta 88's B body rather than the Ninety Eight's C body, sharing the coil spring suspension. This page belongs to the Oldsmobile Delta 88 model on its Oldsmobile make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
