Mitsubishi Colt 600

Automobiles

The Colt 600 was a five seat, two door passenger sedan with the engine at the rear that Shin Mitsubishi Heavy Industries built from 1962, the successor of the Mitsubishi 500 of 1960, which was the first passenger car that the company had designed itself. It was the first car to carry the Colt name, with tail fins and a 594 cc air cooled twin cylinder engine of 25 PS, and it raced in Malaysia and Japan. It was replaced in 1965 by the Colt 800, after about 13,700 had been built. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the Mitsubishi 500 (1960 to 1961); the Colt 600 (1962 to 1965).
