Mercury Custom (single generation)

Automobiles

The Custom was introduced as the base model series in the 1952 Mercury range, replacing the original Mercury Eight and positioned below the upper trim Monterey. It was sold as four door and two door sedans, and in its first year 83,475 four door sedans were manufactured at 2,040 dollars. The Medalist displaced the Custom as the base model for 1956, and both were discontinued for 1957. Its model years run from 1952 to 1956.
