Ford Ranger (Americas) (first generation)

Automobiles

The first generation Ranger was developed as Project Yuma from 1976 to replace the Courier, and the first one rolled off the Louisville line on 18 January 1982, reaching showrooms in March 1982 as a 1983 model. It was a compact truck sold in a regular cab and, from 1986, a SuperCab, with Lima four cylinder, Cologne V6 and diesel engines. A major revision came for 1989, and the Explorer and Bronco II were derived from it. Its model years run from 1983 to 1992.
