Automobiles

The second generation came from the fifth generation Fiesta, built as sedans in India and Brazil, and the Ikon name was used for it only in South Africa from September 2007 and in Mexico from 2010. A hatchback called Ikon Hatch, imported from India where it is the Figo, followed in Mexico, and the Mexican sedan was retired in February 2012. Its model years here run from 2007 to 2012. The Ikon was a small Ford sedan built on the Fiesta platform for markets where buyers wanted a sedan, such as India and South Africa.
