The Brazilian Fiesta Sedan was facelifted again in April 2010, and the second facelift came to Mexico as the new Ikon in the same year. Its hatchback sister, the Ikon Hatch, would follow in 2011, imported from India where it was the Figo, with a 1.6 litre Duratec engine. The Ikon was a small Ford sedan built on the Fiesta platform for markets where buyers wanted a sedan, such as India and South Africa. Ford sold the same basic design under the Fiesta and Ikon names depending on the country.
