The second generation wore Chrysler's curved fuselage styling, in which the upper and lower body blend into one rounded unit, with a nearly straight across bumper. The wheelbase grew a little, a 383 cubic inch V8 was standard and a 440 was available at first, and an auxiliary Super Lite projector lamp was a short lived option. New sheet metal arrived for 1972 with hidden headlamps, and rubber bumper guards followed in 1973 to meet impact rules. Its model years run from 1969 to 1973.
