Chrysler New Yorker (C body 1965 to 1968)

Automobiles

All 1965 Chryslers were built on a new C body unibody platform with a bolt on, rubber isolated front subframe, and Elwood Engel designed the 1965 New Yorker with slab sides and chrome along the fender edges that echoed his 1961 Lincoln Continental. The 413 gave way in 1966 to the new 440 V8, a three speed TorqueFlite was standard, and the 1967 and 1968 cars received sheet metal and styling updates. Its model years run from 1965 to 1968.
