1966 Chrysler New Yorker

Automobiles

Styling for 1966 was an evolution of the 1965 themes, with a new grille, tail lamps and revised side trim, and the biggest news was the new Firepower 440 V8, producing 350 horsepower in standard form and 365 in the high performance 440 TNT version. The New Yorker no longer offered a station wagon, since the Town and Country became its own series. Chrysler sales rose nearly 29 percent, but New Yorker numbers were down to 47,579.
