The seventh generation 3 Series, the G20 saloon and G21 Touring, was unveiled at the 2018 Paris Motor Show and has been built since October 2018. It added the plug in 330e iPerformance, mild hybrid diesels, an electric i3 saloon for China and the first M3 Touring. A facelift in 2022 brought the curved display, and a long wheelbase G28 serves China and India. A successor, the G50, is slated for 2027. Its model years run from 2018 to 2026.
