The seventh generation Outback was launched in Mexico on 12 February 2026, with two variants, Touring CVT and Wilderness XT CVT. It went on sale in North America in late 2025 for the 2026 model year, a crossover SUV with a boxier shape, taller roofline and increased use of exterior body cladding than the raised wagon it replaced. The Outback is a nameplate that Subaru has used since the 1995 model year.
