A minor facelift came to the Mazda3 in Japan in April 2023, restructuring the range into Smart Edition, Proactive Touring Selection and Black Tone Edition. In Australia the mild hybrid, Skyactiv-X and manual options were discontinued in July, in Taiwan the range was updated in August, and Malaysia revised its line-up in October and dropped the 1.5 liter engine. The Mazda3 sold in Thailand was assembled at AutoAlliance Thailand in Rayong.
