2022 Mazda3

In 2022 the Mazda3 sedan in Mexico received the turbocharged engine for the Signature trim and the mild hybrid e-Skyactiv-G for the i-Sport trim, in January. The Malaysian Ignite Edition appeared in March, an e-Skyactiv X Edition hatchback limited to 100 units went on sale in Taiwan the same month, and Thailand got a Carbon Edition in October. The 2022 Mazda3 earned a Top Safety Pick Plus award from the IIHS.
