Because of the end of the Scion marque, in August 2016 the FR-S was rebranded as the Toyota 86 in North America. A facelifted 86 was launched in August 2016, and in Australia Toyota launched 450 Blackline units in November. The 86 Shooting Brake Concept was shown in Sydney on 6 May. It was model year 5 of 9 in the Toyota 86 (first generation, ZN6), 2012 to 2020, coming after the 2015 model year and before the 2017 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota 86 run from 2012 to 2026.
