The 2008 TL was the final year of the third generation. It had a better engine immobilizer and its own warning light for the tire pressure monitoring system. The navigation system was updated to work in Hawaii, and the AcuraLink satellite capability was expanded to cover 76 markets, up from 38 in the 2007 model. The 3.2 litre base car and the Type-S with its 3.5 litre engine were both carried over.
