The 2007 TL was lightly restyled outside and inside, with a new steering wheel, new gauges and footwell lighting, LED turn signal repeaters and bumper-mounted fog lamps, and navigation cars gained a rear-view camera. The Type-S returned with the RL's 3.5 litre V6 tuned to 286 horsepower, with a five-speed automatic or six-speed manual. The manual option was dropped from the base TL because only one in forty TLs sold had one.
