2003 Ford Super Duty

Automobiles

The 7.3 litre diesel was discontinued midway through the 2003 model year because it could no longer comply with noise rules for diesel engines, and a 6.0 litre Power Stroke from Navistar replaced it as a running change. The 2003 Super Duty was sold as an F 250 to F 550. Ford assembles the trucks at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville and at Ohio Assembly in Avon Lake. The Super Duty is a dedicated heavy duty variant of the F Series, sold above the F 150 with Power Stroke diesel engines as an option.
