The V6 engine made a comeback in 2002 with the arrival of the 3.4 liter 5VZ-FE engine, offered exclusively for the Australian four wheel drive models. In 2002 Toyota also introduced a second facelift of the Sport Rider. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Hilux (sixth generation, N140, N150, N160, N170 and N190), 1997 to 2004, and the Toyota Hilux (seventh generation, AN10, AN20 and AN30) came next, following the 2001 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Hilux run from 1968 to 2026.
