Upon the introduction of the 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer and the GMC Envoy, production continued after their successors came to market, with the Jimmy being sold only in Canada and, in the 2005 model year, four door models sold to vehicle fleets. Another upscale model had been the 1998 GMC Envoy with optional high intensity discharge headlamps. The 2002 Jimmy lived on after the Envoy replaced it in the United States.
