In 1998 a Plymouth Prowler was sealed in a mausoleum as a time capsule in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to be returned to Chrysler when it is opened in 2048. The Prowler itself was in its second year, still built by hand at the Conner Avenue plant in Detroit with a body made in Shadyside, Ohio. The car was assembled by hand at the Conner Avenue plant in Detroit, with aluminum body panels that were bonded chiefly in the chassis, and it had features of a daily driver such as keyless entry, power windows, air conditioning and a stereo.
