The 1991 Cressida brought brighter alloy wheels, a redesigned grille containing the new Toyota T logo, and simplified climate controls. The option of a solid rear axle suspension instead of double wishbones was dropped with the facelift in late 1990. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Mark II (sixth generation, X80), 1988 to 1991, and the Toyota Mark II (seventh generation, X90) came next, following the 1990 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Mark II run from 1968 to 2004.
