A new 150 horsepower 3.3 liter V6 was added to the option list in the 1990 model year, and revisions to the Mitsubishi V6 increased its output to 142 horsepower. Three flagship trims were introduced, with Chrysler adding the standard wheelbase Dodge Caravan ES and Plymouth Voyager LX, and, as an early 1990 model, the Chrysler Town and Country, a luxury minivan added to the Chrysler brand. It was the last year of the S platform minivans.
