In October 1985 the 1G-GTEU parallel twin turbo was installed in the Chaser's GT Twin Turbo trim package, which was a trim package name shared with the Cresta. The TEMS suspension installation shared the same settings used in the 1986 Soarer and 1986 Supra. It was model year 2 of 3 in the Toyota Chaser (third generation, X70), 1984 to 1987, coming after the 1984 model year and before the 1986 model year.
