The 1985 Fiero did not appear in showrooms until January 1985, with the introduction of the GT model, which looked very similar to the 1984 Indy model without the decals or body color wheels. The three models and four colors from the previous year were still available, and the complaint about insufficient power was addressed, much to the satisfaction of the general public, because by 1985 demand for improved engine power had increased.
