1977 Mercury Grand Marquis

Automobiles

The 400 cubic inch V8 remained standard for 1977, with the 460 V8 optional, in the full size Mercury Marquis line whose flagship sub model was the Grand Marquis. This was the third year since all full size Mercury sedans took the Marquis nameplate, and the last full year before the full size cars were downsized for 1979. The Grand Marquis was a sub model of the Marquis, Mercury's flagship full size car. It was a rear wheel drive V8 sedan, built by Ford for Mercury.
