Oldsmobile built its biggest full size car in 1971 although the wheelbase was unchanged from 1970, and the Ninety Eights were the roomiest Oldsmobiles ever built thanks to the new General Motors full size bodies. They set a record for interior width that would not be matched until the full size General Motors rear wheel drive models of the early to mid 1990s. This page belongs to the Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight model on its Oldsmobile make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
