The 1977 Ninety Eight was redesigned and downsized, like the Delta 88, at around 4000 pounds curb weight and over 800 pounds lighter, while headroom and rear seat legroom increased. The 455 engine was replaced by the smaller 403 V8, and the Oldsmobile 350 V8 was now the standard engine. A four door sedan and a two door hardtop coupe were available. This page belongs to the Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight model on its Oldsmobile make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
