1968 Ford Custom

Automobiles

In 1968 the Custom and Custom 500 remained the economy line of the full size Ford range, with the Custom 500 slightly better trimmed. The companion station wagon series sold with Custom and Custom 500 trim was the Ranch Wagon, intended for fleet buyers like the sedans, and most Customs were fitted with the base inline six cylinder engine or a small block V8, up to the 351 by the mid to late 1970s. The Custom served Ford as a fleet and economy nameplate.
