Production of the Carol 600, with its 586 cc RA engine and a body 3,200 mm long, ended in November 1964 after the introduction of the more spacious Mazda Familia 800 sedan version. About 8,800 Carol 600 cars were built. The Carol 360 went on, weighing 525 kg against 380 kg for the R360, with a very comfortable ride but cramped accommodation. The Carol weighed in at 525 kg, versus 380 kg for the diminutive R360. The Carol complemented the three-wheeled Mazda Mazdago.
