1960 Ford Fairlane (Americas)

Automobiles

Full size Fairlane and Fairlane 500 models were restyled for 1960. While the de luxe Galaxie and Fairlane 500 series carried a tri color Ford crest on the hood, base Fairlanes had FORD in chrome block letters across their hoods. The Fairlane was by then a base model beneath the Galaxie, equivalent to the Chevrolet Bel Air and Biscayne, and would be repackaged in 1962. This was the third generation of the seven generations of the Fairlane.
