1955 Chrysler New Yorker

Automobiles

For 1955 Chrysler brought in new designs inspired by Virgil Exner's custom 1952 Imperial Parade Phaeton, replacing the high roofline cars of K.T. Keller, and a new four door hardtop body became available. Every New Yorker was now given the DeLuxe suffix, with the St. Regis two door hardtop filling the position of the former Windsor, and the Hemi V8's output rose to 250 horsepower. The sedan, convertible and Town and Country wagon were also offered.
