Dodge received yet another facelift in 1951, but this time the cars stayed virtually unchanged for two model years. Busy making military vehicles for use in Korea, the company chose not to spend scarce resources on completely redesigning its civilian models, so the Wayfarer, Meadowbrook and Coronet lines carried on. Dodge cars were still divided into the Wayfarer, Meadowbrook and Coronet lines. The cars used the same engine as in 1950.
