All Dodge vehicles received a facelift for 1950, but like the 1949 models they were still divided into Wayfarer, Meadowbrook and Coronet lines. The 1950 cars can be identified by a new grille design with three heavy horizontal bars. Like the 1949 cars, they were powered by the 230 cubic inch flat head six cylinder engine, the only engine Dodge offered, and the Coronet stayed at the top of the three line range.
