For 1935 Chrysler added the more traditional DeSoto Airstream, which it shared with the Chrysler division, and DeSoto regained a portion of its lost market share. The Airflow was still offered but the bulk of DeSoto's sales were Airstreams, and the Airflow was relegated to the back of the DeSoto catalog. Buyers who did choose it found a more prominent peaked grille, and apart from cosmetic changes such as hood louvers the cars remained unchanged.
