All Propeller-Driven Fighters

Single-seat and twin-engined propeller fighters flown from the First World War through the Korean War, built to win air superiority over the battlefield and to escort bombers. An entry belongs here when the cited article names a propeller-driven fighter aircraft. It excludes jet fighters and interceptors, bombers and transports. Entries are placed by what their own cited article says, so each one sits in the narrowest group its source supports, and the group page lists it beside the other members.
