The Dodge Super Bee is an American muscle car introduced in 1968 as a performance version of the mid-size Dodge Coronet, built as Dodge's lower-priced answer to the Plymouth Road Runner within the Chrysler corporate family. Marketed with a cartoon bumblebee emblem and later offered on the Dodge Charger platform as well, it emphasized strong engine options at a comparatively affordable price.
