The first Chiffon, the LA600F and LA610F, was sold from 13 December 2016 as the normal Chiffon and the dress up Chiffon Custom, with the Smart Assist III standard in all grades, and some grades of the Custom differing in equipment from the Tanto. It resumed the super height wagon of Subaru after about one year and seven months. It was made at the Daihatsu Shiga plant for Subaru. Its model years run from 2016 to 2018.
