A improved model of the Chiffon went on sale on 18 December 2017, following a partial improvement of the Daihatsu Tanto, with the new digital multi view monitor, the equivalent of the panoramic monitor of the Tanto, as a maker option on three grades, and two new grades, the G Special and the Custom R Special, with the panoramic view monitor and a power sliding door on the right side. The G Special also got LED headlamps.
