Plymouth Gran Fury

Automobiles

The Plymouth Gran Fury was the largest Plymouth from 1975 to 1989, a conventional rear wheel drive car that was downsized twice, in 1980 and 1982. The first generation renamed the C body Fury as the Gran Fury, the second was a short lived pillared sedan on the R platform, and the third shared the M platform with the Dodge Diplomat and Chrysler Fifth Avenue and was a favorite of police and fleet buyers. By the end it was Plymouth's last rear wheel drive car until the Prowler. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 3 generations: the first generation (1975 to 1977); the second generation (1980 to 1981); the third generation (1982 to 1989).
