The Marauder was a Mercury nameplate used for three distinct full size cars, named for the most powerful engines of the Mercury line and marketed as the highest performance version of the full size range. It began as a 1963 and a half sloped roof model, returned in 1969 and 1970 as a personal luxury fastback, and was revived for 2003 and 2004 as a performance version of the Grand Marquis. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 3 generations: the first generation (1963 to 1965); the second generation (1969 to 1970); the third generation (2003 to 2004).
