DeSoto Airflow

Automobiles

The DeSoto Airflow was the streamlined, unit body car that DeSoto sold for the 1934, 1935 and 1936 model years, mechanically close to the longer Chrysler Airflow but on a shorter 115.5 inch wheelbase. Its radical styling excited interest at first but the public found it too different in a time of economic uncertainty, so DeSoto added the conventional Airstream in 1935 and dropped the Airflow after 1936. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the only generation (1934 to 1936).
