In 1965 Plymouth made the Fury a full size car again, and the Belvedere nominally became the intermediate, though it changed little. The line split into Belvedere I, Belvedere II and Satellite subseries, the Satellite offered only as a hardtop coupe and convertible with a 273 cubic inch V8 as standard. The line was restyled in 1966, and the high performance GTX joined in 1967. Its model years run from 1965 to 1967.
