The Toyota Tundra is a full size pickup truck that Toyota has built in the United States since May 1999. It was the second full size pickup from a Japanese manufacturer, after the T100, and the first built in North America, at first in a new plant in Princeton, Indiana, with production moved to San Antonio, Texas in 2008. Motor Trend named it Truck of the Year in 2000 and again in 2008. The model has had three generations, the third of which dropped the V8 engine for a twin turbocharged V6 and a hybrid version. Generations with their own pages on this site: the first generation, XK30 and XK40 (2000 to 2006); the second generation, XK50 (2007 to 2021); the third generation, XK70 (2022 to 2026).
