For 2013 the Platinum package, offered since the 2010 model year on CrewMax Tundras, was made into a trim level. On 7 February 2013 the refreshed 2014 Tundra was introduced at the Chicago Auto Show, keeping the same engines that had been used since the 2010 update. It was model year 7 of 15 in the Toyota Tundra (second generation, XK50), 2007 to 2021, coming after the 2012 model year and before the 2014 model year.
